October 27, 2006. Little Rock, AR General Wes Clark today endorses Keely Marrs for State Senate in Colorado's Senate District Nine.
General Clark said, "Keely Marrs is uniquely qualified to become a leader in Colorado's State Senate. Her life experiences and moderate, common sense approach to solving the state and district's problems will appeal to all her constituents. In particular, her positions on protecting the rights and benefits of veterans and military families in this area heavy with military installations and families make Keely Marrs ideally suited to represent the Ninth Senate District."
"We need Keely Marrs in the State Senate," General Clark added. "Her emphasis on economic opportunity through cooperation with businesses large and small, preserving Colorado's precious and fragile environment, finding ways to provide enough clean, usable water for the entire state, and providing affordable health care and education at all levels is exactly the right emphasis for the issues facing Colorado and the Colorado Springs area."
"I am proud today to stand with Keely Marrs as she steps up as a new leader in the Colorado State Senate," General Clark concluded.
