No doubt, many of you have heard or read about Attorney General Gonzales absurd interpretation of the Constitution's habeas corpus provision. In short, the Attorney General, in a hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, attempted to argue that there is really no such thing as habeas corpus. After watching this news report, it is hard to believe that more U.S. Troops will actually do any good. I was most saddened by the extent our military personnel have been unwittingly tainted by Iraq's sectarian violence.
