Netroots Grassroots - using technology in activism

Religion and sexuality - The director of The Religious Institute on Sexual Morality, Justice and Healing, an ecumenical, interfaith organization dedicated to advocating for sexual health, education, and justice in faith communities and society will speak to the issues at the intersection of religion and sexuality.
Effective TIA lobbying - Local alliances will speak to their successes and challenges lobbying at the state level
Building coalitions for action - case study of three issues that brought together interesting and challenging coalitions.

Working with state legislatures - learn the basics of working with your state legislators with former Colorado State Representative and current Director of NCSL's Center for Ethics in Government, Peggy Kearns
Film on hate crimes - "A Dream in Doubt" is an immigrant story in a world in which patriotism has morphed into murder."
Film discussion - "A Dream in Doubt" producer Preet Singh will facilitate a discussion of the film.
Making your vision for the community a reality - Romal Tune, president of Clergy Strategic Alliances will offer skills and strategies and challenge you with new levels of responsibility around political, social, and economic action.
Court-stripping - Dealing with efforts to take jurisdiction or discretion away from a court or a particular judge, often to deny a particular group access to the courts.
Managing Membership - How to really listen to and hear your membership. Hands on workshop designed to create better membership relationships.
Conflict Resolution - Tools for Conflict Resolution in Interfaith Dialogue
Direct Marketing Boot Camp - The science and the art of direct marketing
Setting and Defining Priorities - the ying and the yang relationship of local and national priorities
Earth Charter -Dr. Ved Prakash Nanda, the Vice Provost for Internationalization and a John Evans University Professor at the School of Law, University of Denver, will lead the Earth Charter discussion as you experience the display.
Facilitating Interfaith Dialogue - TIA Vice President, Suzie Armstrong, will lead a panel on the best practices creating and sustaining interfaith dialogue
Faith-based Initiatives & The Criminal Justice System - Grassroots Leadership, a North Carolina social justice group will help us understand private prisons and faith specific prisons.
Making the Ask - Our development department will help you create your strategy to ask people for money, face-to-face.
