You apparently have NOT been watching, listening nor reading. Otherwise ... you WOULD be outraged at what this aministration is doing right in front of our noses. And Bush is the leader of this administration, is he not? It is the greatest country in the world; but what is happening makes me weep! And it is the kind of ignorance that you speak that breeds apathy and allows you to sit back and rant against the courage that it must have taken to produce this song and speak this truth. In light of what has happened to those that have dared speak out against what is going on, do you really think the decision to put this song out there was an easy one? PLEASE. Just think. This song will get heard ... LOUDLY! And we should all support this effort to make the truth heard. It is time.

Pink does give a lot of money to homeless shelters and to many charities. I think it is endlessly more admirable that she chooses not to publicise this. She doesn't do it for fame, she does it because she cares. Anyway, the song is simply asking Bush to consider these people and what they are going through. To understand them and, as the leader of their nation, help them rather than himself.

I think that she just wanted to get her opinions out there and let everyone know that she didn't think it was right that Bush was screwing up peoples lives. The bit about the father hating is daughter if she were gay still stands strong in my mind. Bush is anit homosexual, so no doubt he would hate/disown his own daughter if she were gay because it would be bad publicity.
Although the points you made were excellent, they weren't enough to change my mind. I still believe that one of the best things P!ink did was make a song such as this. To get the awareness out there to teenagers and others who rarely listen to or pay attention to the news.

Bush hasn't spent ANY of his own money to help people, if he did Katrina wouldn't have gone the way it did, and this country wouldn't be $10 trillion in debt(in other words, he'd actually pay higher taxes instead of taxing the middle class to death). Actually, EVERYONE'S freedom comes free, wars and the military are just political tools to make it look otherwise. We aren't HELPING anyone by taking over THEIR country, and fucking it up more. They live there, you don't. Stay out of it. We haven't stopped any terrorism, we've created more and if you actually watched the news, you'd know this. Make a point. And lets not forget that Clinton was the ONLY President in history to leave office with a SURPLUS, that helps a lot more than anything Bush has ever done. Plus, Clinton and Bill Gates have been banning together and using their own MONEY and power to help third-world countries fight AIDS and get them cheaper AIDS medication. Yet, I haven't heard of Bush doing ANYTHING like that, gee I wonder why? Maybe because he doesn't care and it shows.

The point she was making in the song had a double edge to it. One of the points was about abortion, which by the way is not your business since you're more than likely a man who wouldn't know dick about taking care of a child. The second point was when Bush put one of his education bills in place and now his own daughter can't get a job in teaching because of it. She should have the RIGHT to get a job in her field but because of her father, she can't. And a choice is not always made to have sex, I'm sure you've heard of rape. And Bush chooses to take lives EVERYDAY both Americans and Iraqis, so get over it. The law states that a baby is only a baby when it draws it's first breath outside of the uterus, otherwise it's not a baby, and it's not your business either way. You're not to decide that a baby's life is worth more than a person already living in this world. Do not judge, lest ye be judged.

No, it makes him a hypocrite to sit there and try to force religious beliefs into the Constitution, when Separation of Church and State is there for a reason, at the same time as kissing the gay community's ass by taking promo pics with his GAY daughter's child. His own daughter didn't get promos with her daughter done, but he did. Talk about trying to capitalize.

"Disagreeing with this president or any president is ok, but tell you senators, don't tell it in a song." - Tell that to country singers who make money from the military and national tragedies and idiots like you don't seem to see a problem with that. Singers have a right to sing about whatever they want, and just as you Republicans say, "If you don't like it, turn it off."
