Amendment 47 criminal circulators

After an explosive television story exposed the use of convicted criminals by signature-gathering companies this week, Protect Colorado's Future released the following ad revealing that criminals were hired to collect signatures on behalf of Amendment 47 and initiatives 53 and 59.

I would like to think of felons as people who can be able to work any job, with any kind of co-worker and customer. But logic can tell us that sometimes temptation can become too much for someone who has already crossed that line of morality. Why give these people the temptation for stealing information or forging signatures that may be too much for them to handle? Signing petitions should not be like playing a game of chance with the criminally minded.
The amount of deception already infused into these three initiatives is a great indicator of how the will affect our community if passed. Don't the citizens of Colorado have the right to a safe and honest petition process?
