I was listening to yesterday's news about the current occupant of the White House on his farewell tour of Europe. This phrase was used by the reporter in the form of, "The last visit to Europe by President Bush."
I realized that this is a very positive development. I'm looking for more "lasts" of anything and everything for the coWH. The case against the mis-administration regarding Iran is particularly damaging.
It's clear that since entering office that the coWH has acted against the best interests of the United States on relations and policies towards Iran; the jumbled focus of his European tour sound bite script. Rather than advancing the best interests of the US, the current mis-administration has consistently played to the advantage of Ahmadi-Nejad and the ruling Iranian radicals.
The errors of Bush are numerous, but start with the decision to invade Iraq and the effects of his energy policy's escalating oil prices. There are substantial reasons to question the motives behind both. The results have been to substantially increase the political influence and economic well-being of Iran while witnessing the painful decline of the same factors of national power for the US.
The reign of George Bush as US President is summarized by an abuse of personal interests and simplistic pre-conceptions at the expense of good policy and the future of this nation. The "git Saddam" and "let's make the oilies richer" obsessions of the coWH and his neo-con handlers may not be mere parodies, but may actually be true.
A rational US foreign/defense policy may have seen the benefit of a hobbled and marginalized Saddam as a counter to radical Iran, and sought out US energy policy that balanced exploration, alternative sources and conservation rather than just boosting the off-shore bank account balances of big oil interests. In the face of a global conflict against terrorists leveraging radical Islam it is a patently bizarre decision-making process to turn away from capturing Osama Bin Ladin, and at the same time preside over unprecedented increases in oil revenues that presumably benefit the financial backers of Al-Qaida.
220 days until the coWH becomes the former coWH. We can only hope that the "lame-duck-ness" of his mis-administration is rapidly increased after November 4th. President-Elect Obama should not hold-back from influencing the direction of America.

Since the Iraqi government is withholding support for the Status of Forces Agreement it has become a dangerous game of "chicken" now.
Mr. Bush has now used the fact that there are approximately 50 billion oil revenue dollars being held by U.S. banks. Such money is now embargoed and as such is a bargaining chip (otherwise known as extortion) for the Iraqi government to sign SOFA.
The problem is that the Iraqi people do not want 58 U.S. military bases in Iraq.
Nor do the people of Iraq want U.S. military operations in Iraq period- no free flyovers for U.S. military jets, ground operations without permission from the Iraqi government, and no immunity for foreign military and mercenary personnel.
The last day (if he doesn't start another war through inaction ala 9/11) he is in office will mean that it will be time to start serious action to bring the legal machinery of other nations to bear on Mr. Bush. Such legal systems should be free to arrest Mr. Bush for crimes against humanity, including breaking Geneva Conventions against torture, illegal aggression against another sovereign nation.
If America cannot bring Mr. Bush to justice then it must be the other nations of the world who must do so.
Mr. Bush and his cohort must now live in fear for the rest of their lives of being arrested for their crimes of mass murder.
