No doubt, many of you have heard or read about Attorney General Gonzales absurd interpretation of the Constitution's habeas corpus provision. In short, the Attorney General, in a hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, attempted to argue that there is really no such thing as habeas corpus. The practice of "signing statements" and Mr. Gonzales' twisted policy towards Habeas Corpus reaches the level of Contempt of Congress, and further encourages calls for impeachment. In this case, I would fully support an action to remove this lackey from the circle of darkness that surrounds the coWH.
