Progress Now Action

Relating to the program to bring farm workers into Colorado:

I must appeal to the dictionary regarding definitions.
Illiterate = not able to read or write in a specific language

Peasant = one who toils, works, for a living at the behest of an overseer (whether tyrannical or not), for the benefit of the owner/overseer, usually on the premises of such an owner/overseer
(on introspection - could't we all (except the very wealthy) say that we "toil, work" for a living on someone elses premises, and at their direction??)

So - it is an apt description of a migrant farm -laborer from another country -who speaks and writes Not English- as illiterate (in English) and a peasant -- working, toiling for the farm owner - for a subsistance living.

What is shocking is the wave of vitrol that has been ejected from the mouths of so many folks who ascribe to themselves a veneer of superiority both intellectually and economically.

Have they not gained such by the meer fact of having been born in an affluent, secure culture, educated in the language and history of that culture, who have accepted these benefits (what, these aren't rights and privileges that I am owed??) with out the responsibilities; along with the quasi-liberal theology of compassion for the not-so-enfranchised masses - maybe to qualm the ascribed and accepted attitudinal indoctrinations of the culture-change agents who have poured out their floods of disparaging platitudes against God himself, if need be, to further their goal of Control of humankind- by forcing the ellimination of natural barriers including, among many others, that reasonable expectations of intent on immigrants motivations, as well as 'looking the other way' and allowing expressly illegal actions to occur (does this not encourage further illegal action)?
Are you subject to pangs of ascribed guilt for historical events for which you have no responsibility? Is your salvation the condemnation of people who question your motivation? Do you subscribe to a new world in which there is tolarance for only accepted views and ideas --- but no-tolerance for differing views, especially just the airing of legally founded and historically validated purposes and actions grounded in commonly accepted and ratified contitutions (those were not stupid people who drafted these constitutions)?
Do you think and believe that there are endless resources for an endless number of people to freely walk into the State of Colorado, the Country of the 50 United States?

Wake up - the pundits are brainwashing you with endless lies about governmental goodness, all the while taking individual freedom (and resources) so that each and every person, including yourselves, are being dragged into the net of this new attempt at controlling humankind (whether Coloradoans, US citizens or whatever) - because we will all be equally dependent upon the government to provide for us, the peasants on their (the overseers, the government agents) premises.-----
--All while the average folks go about their daily business, not suspecting that such changes are occurring while they work and play and sleep.

Please - express vitrol at a government gone excessive in controlling people...not at people pointing out inconsistencies in actions versus the stated purposes of government in the (state, Federal) constitutions.

And a final thought -- with the 10,000s of illegal persons already in Colorado, why not simply institute this program to allow those who would be honest among this group of folks, to sign up - and bring them into this program. Heck - they are already here - just go get them to sign up.
