My Story: My wife and I have been living in Colorado for twelve years, having moved here from the Boston area. While always having been politically aware, and voting for liberal candidates and causes, I have only been so closely involved in politics for the last four years. There are two men who I hold responsible for my current attitude: Howard Dean and Mike Miles. After having heard Howard Dean's message and supporting him in the '04 Presidential Primaries, I was introduced to Mike through his campaign website. I signed up to volunteer, met others who supported him, and was hooked. I ended up getting hired as his Field Director during the Senate Primary in the spring and summer of 2004. Of course before I did that, for the first time in my life, I joined a political party. I did so in order to be able to participate in the caucuses, and since then I remain a Democrat. For now.
