My Story: I come from a secret society of geeks that live in the foothills west of Loveland Colorado. During my late-teens I went through a rebellious period where I attempted to throw aside my geek origins at the University of Colorado with a major in International Affairs. I thought I had left my past behind when I ventured out into the real world and started a fundraising and development internship for a media nonprofit (Deproduction) in Denver, and began working part-time as a grants administrator and program manager for the Brett Family Foundation. I was wrong. A year later I became the technology director for the media organization, and a technology consultant for the Foundation's progressive grantees. I am now officially re-inaugurated into geek society after having launched a progressive web development company in 2007 to work with small businesses and nonprofits devoted to positive change. http://www.civicpixel.com
