Our current focus is pressuring Rep. Udall to
honor his Oath of Office to Protect Our Constitution by: a. Filing his own Cheney Impeachment Resolution soon. b. Convincing his fellow Colorado Democratic Congressmen to do the same. c. Using all of his power to persuade the US House Judiciary Committee under John Conyers, Chairman, to allow immediate public debate of H Res 799/H Res 333, the Cheney Impeachment Resolutions.

If he actually cares so much about our Soldiers, he will, before the election make sure that the House debates the pending resolutions for Impeachment of Vice President Cheney.
For him or any other Colorado Democratic Congressman to avoid determining the truth about the reasons Cheney gave for the Iraq War makes a mockery of the 4,000 deaths and over 30,000 maimed of our Soldiers. If Congressional Democrats approved a war for Cheney's WMD Lies, the Soldiers indeed are dying for lies. That reality will haunt our congressmen for the rest of their careers Unless they swallow their pride and make Impeachment hearings happen before the election. Their individual salvation and absolution lies in championing Impeachment Hearings Now!

Udall just needs to show a little courage. If Udall will not honor his Oath to protect Our Constitution and the Power of Congress to make laws and have them obeyed and enforced by the Executive Branch, Udall does not qualify to be a Congressman, much less a Senator. We don't need another spineless Democratic Senator who votes like a Republican and will protect a warmonger President (and future Bush/wannabes like McCain).

We believe all power to Impeach is Local so you must pressure all of our Colorado congressmen within their own Colorado Districts by going directly to the voters who elected them.

Pressure them to Stop The War Now and bring accountability to the Bush/Cheney Administration for the WMD lies that are getting our soldiers killed and maimed for nothing but Cheney's oil buddies. The trillions that will eventually be wasted could easily have been used to pay Iraq's people for their oil instead of ruining their country and killing their people to get it.

You can make the Congress Impeach. You just have to get off the couch and contribute to the effort to Impeach. It is that simple. You can brag to your grand children you helped bring down the evil Bush/Cheney Administration. It will feel good.

Call All Of Colorado's Democratic Congressmen Weekly and tell them to Co-Sponsor US Rep. Kucinich's Bill To Impeach Vice President Cheney (H Res 333) and to urge Rep. Conyers to have the H Res 799 version passed out of the sub-committee it is in.

If you can find the time try calling all other US Congressmen and urge them to do the same.

If you want the killing of US Soldiers to stop don't wait for the Democrats in Congress to do it. Bush will surely Veto any law they pass.

The Iraq War will continue for years regardless of which Party wins the Presidency in November.

Impeachment of Cheney prior to November is the only way to end the Iraq War prior to late in 2009. Many more American soldiers will die and be maimed while the Democratic Congress puts off stopping the funding and ignores impeachment.

Impeachment is the only way to get the full attention of the most Impeachable Vice President and President in US history.

Given the current low positive poll rating for our Democratic Congress ( 18 % compared to Bush's 34%) doing Impeachment can only increase their popularity with the voters. Accomplishing nothing from now until Nov. 2008 will lose seats for the Democrats. Demand they Impeach Cheney at least.

The only Bill Congress can pass that Bush Cannot Veto and the Supreme Court cannot set aside is an Impeachment Bill. Bush and Cheney cannot be impeached after they leave office.

Impeachment is the only way to stop the war quickly against Bush's veto power.
Call the Democrats first. Some GOP Congressman may join the Democrats later but only after the Democrats force the Impeachment issue.
