Demand Apology from President Bush to the "Denver Three"

In March of 2005, three Denver residents were forcibly removed from a taxpayer-funded event in Denver at which President Bush promoted his privatization plan for Social Security.

They were removed simply because someone associated with the event observed that one of them had a "No More Blood for Oil" bumper sticker on their car.

The "Denver Three's" Constitutional rights were violated, and they filed a lawsuit against the individuals involved. Their complaint asserted that the White House directed their removal, but the White House has insisted they had no involvement.

In sworn testimony March 2nd, however, it was revealed that White House staff directly ordered their removal.

Thomas Jefferson said that the price of freedom is eternal vigilence. These Colorado citizens were deprived of their right to attend a publicly funded event featuring the President of the United States. We demand a public apology by President Bush.
