Statement of Purpose:
The Douglas County Republican Party (DCR) of Douglas County, Colorado recognizes the fundamental principles of the Republican Party as reflected in the State and National Platforms, the primary purpose of this organization shall be to elect Republican candidates to office, to achieve the objectives of the Republican Party at county, state and national levels, and to perform the functions set forth in the election laws of the State of Colorado, and the Colorado Republican Central Committee (CRC) bylaws.

Additionally, it is the purpose of the DCR to:

  • Educate electors in the principles of the Republican Party and enlist them into the Party
  • Disseminate political information about the affairs of our county, state, and nation and define the issues at stake
  • Promoting support only for Republican candidates for county, state, and national offices
  • Raise funds for the Republican Party
  • Encourage a strong Republican Party
  • Encourage citizens to exercise their American right to vote
