Thank Governor Ritter

The Denver Post recently complimented Governor Ritter for his "impressive" review which identified $145 million in inefficient operations. The Post noted that "State employees and the new administration are to be complimented" and that Ritter and state employees should "continue their efforts, and that lawmakers will find the dollars, where necessary, to help realize the savings." (DP, 10/16/2007)

Last Friday, Governor Ritter took another step toward more effective and accountable government by issuing an executive order to allow state employees the opportunity to choose an official employee organization and give frontline workers the ability to better communicate with their managers and department heads. (Rocky Mountain News, 11/3/2007)

In the last four years alone under former Governor Bill Owens, some $300 million was spent on failed computer systems - problems that could have been avoided if state employees were given more of an opportunity to speak up. (DP, 10/12/2007)

Add your name below to thank Governor Ritter for making the right choices to help make our state government as efficient and effective as possible. We will deliver your comments to Governor Ritter and his entire cabinet.
